Almost a half-million dollars in jewelry was stolen by an amateur thief Tuesday night at an outlet store on Factory Shops Boulevard in Ellenton.
The security footage is fuzzy, but paints a clear picture of an armed robbery with a getaway valued at almost $500,000.
