With less than one month to go, the November 8th grand opening of the new outlet mall in Livermore, CA cannot come soon enough. The economic impact of Paragon Outlets Livermore Valley will be tremendous with just the completion of the first phase. Anchored by Bloomingdale’s Outlet, phase I will bring 2,000 jobs to Livermore. Local officials expect the outlet mall to bring an estimated $2M in sales tax revenue for the city. “We were 100% leased for the first phase of this project 90 days ago,” said Nicholas King, a Principal at Paragon Outlet Partners. “It is a rare achievement, and it speaks to the resiliency of the Bay Area’s economy.”
With roughly 130 stores, Paragon Outlets Livermore Valley is located at 3507 Paragon Outlets Drive, just off the I-580 El Charro Road exit in Livermore. What sets Paragon Outlets Livermore Valley apart from the other outlet malls is the incredible collection of upscale brands that have already committed to be in the project’s first phase. Along with a coveted collection of premium brands that includes Bloomingdale’s, Burberry, Coach, Neiman Marcus, it will be one of the few outlet centers in the country to carry Prada. Although Gucci and Nordstrom Rack are not part of Paragon Outlets Livermore Valley’s first phase, they are rumored to join this stunning project in its second phase. The intense concentration of premium labels is made possible by the San Francisco Bay Area’s high median household income and the region’s strong consumer demand. With roughly 120 stores, Vacaville Outlet Mall is located at 321 Nut Tree Road, nearly half way between Sacramento and San Francisco on I-80. Some popular stores include Burberry, Coach, Gucci, Eddie Bauer, Banana Republic, and many more, but Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, and Prada are not among the collection of premium brands. Vacaville Outlet Mall is owned by Simon Property Group. The current local sales tax rate in Vacaville is 7.375%.
With roughly 50 stores, Napa Outlet Mall is located at 629 Factory Stores Drive off SR-29, which is roughly half way between Highway 101 and I-80. Some popular stores include Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Barneys New York, Kenneth Cole, and many more, but Bloomingdale’s, Burberry, Coach, Gucci, Neiman Marcus, and Prada are not among the collection of premium brands. Napa Outlet Mall is owned by Simon Property Group. The current local sales tax rate in Napa is 7.750%.
With roughly 60 stores, Petaluma Outlet Mall is located 2200 Petaluma Boulevard North, just off Highway 101 in Sonoma County. With roughly 145 stores, Gilroy Outlet Mall is located at 681 Leavesley Road, just off Highway 101 in the San Jose area.
