If you’re shopping in the Rehoboth Beach area this summer you might run into some congestion around the Tanger Outlet Midway Center where renovations are now in their third month and are expected to continue on through the summer.
The project is expected to be completed within a seven month period.
Amy Norgate, the center’s general manager told WBOC, that there will be a raised pedestrian walkway across the parking lot and believes when finished it will bring in more customers.
As for losing customers during construction, she said, that every effort is being made to make sure that the shoppers have the easiest time to come shopping.
All the stores, she adds, will be open during the renovation.
