Waterloo Outlet employee struck by car on Black Friday

State police are investigating a pedestrian who was struck by a car near the Waterloo Premium Outlets, on State Route 318 in the Town of Junius.

Officials tell News 10NBC that 29-year-old Jacque Hirschler, of Waterloo, was either leaving work at the Outlets, or was going to work when she was struck by a car driven by 19-year-old Cassandra King of Ontario NY.

The incident happened amid the rush of Black Friday shoppers as they swarmed the area. Hirschler was flown by Mercy Flight to Strong Hospital, where she is listed in guarded condition. The investigation is ongoing.
