The Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City get a Disney Store.

A Disney Store Outlet is among 14 new tenants announced Thursday by Horizon Group Properties as it prepares for an August opening for the Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City.

The 65-acre center is set to open Aug. 5 with other newly announced tenants including BCBGMAXAZRIA, Bella Pizza, City Bites, Clarks/Bostonian, DKNY, Jos. A. Bank, Justice, Le Creuset, Michael Kors, Perry Ellis, Polo Ralph Lauren, Soma and Yankee Candle. Other previously announced designer outlet stores include Nike, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Brooks Brothers, Guess, Coach, Chico’s, Banana Republic, Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, Under Armour, Levi’s and Carters.

“We are excited about the additional new stores and believe that this group of retailers will help draw shoppers from a large area throughout Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas,” said Gary J. Skoien, chief executive officer of Horizon Group Properties.

Gina Slechta, vice president of marketing for Horizon Group Properties, said the mall’s Facebook account has seen postings from “fans” requesting some of the newly signed up tenants.

“As of this morning, we have over 16,000 fans and many of them are begging us to bring stores like Polo Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors and others to the center,” Slechta said.

The mall is the only outlet center in the state and is being built at the intersection of Interstate 40 and Council Road. The location has more than 112,000 cars that pass by the site daily. The center is expected to draw more than six million visitors a year from a three-state area and travelers on the Interstates 35, 40 and 44.

Construction on the 348,000-square-foot outlet center began last June. Built in a shopper-friendly racetrack design, the center will have covered walkways to maximize comfort and convenience for patrons. The mall also will feature landscaped courtyards, a food court, children’s play area, and a center court stage with fountains.
