Vacaville outlet robbery suspect arrested

VACAVILLE, CA - A suspect has been arrested in robberies at stores in the Vacaville Premium Outlets.

Vacaville police Sgt. Jeff King said Jules Hollis, 41, and one or more accomplices is suspected of stealing more than $20,000 worth of purses and handbags from the Burberry Store on Sept. 28 and more than $13,000 in merchandise from the Gucci store Oct. 8. The Oct. 8 robbery was committed at gunpoint and King said there were four or five men involved in that incident and two men in the Sept. 28 robbery.

The other involved individuals have yet to be caught.

Additionally, the outlet store robberies are believed to be part of a string of Northern California robberies committed by the same people, King said.

Hollis was located in Fresno. He was booked into Fresno County Jail on robbery and burglary charges. Bail was set at $150,000.

The investigation continues to round up all of those responsible for the series of robberies, King said.
