Tulalip Tribal Police are searching for two suspects in the armed robbery that took place at the Coach store at the Seattle Premium Outlets Mall at 7 a.m., Thursday, May 27.
According to Tulalip Tribal Police, two of the store's employees were preparing to open the store to customers when the bell rang for the delivery door at the back of the store.
When the manager opened the door, two male suspects with bandanas over their faces rushed into the store, one armed with a handgun and the other armed with a rifle.
The robbers reportedly bound the employees' hand with plastic ties, took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene. After about 10 minutes, one of the employees was able to free her hands and call 9-1-1. Neither of the two employees were injured.
"Our officers are currently working the crime scene and interviewing the employees," Tulalip Tribal Deputy Police Chief Carlos Echevarria said at noon May 27. "In a few hours, we hope to have suspect descriptions. We could possibly have video surveillance as well, but there's a lot of footage to go through."
