The Centralia Factory Outlets is getting its second new tenant of 2010 with the opening of a Toys "R" Us Express.
Renate Johnson, the outlet mall’s marketing and property manager, confirmed Wednesday that the slimmed-down version of the toy retail giant is moving into 6,000 square feet of retail space at 2100 Haviland St., between Vitamin World and Bass. The store could open as early as this weekend, Johnson said.
She said the store plans to hire “possibly twelve or thirteen” staff members.
Toys “R” Us Express is the second new addition to the Centralia Factory Outlets this year. High-end purse retailer Coach opened in February. New Balance had announced the opening of a store at the outlets in June, but that store has not opened .
Toys “R” Us will effectively replace the void left by K-B Toys Liquidator, which went out of business in 2009, Johnson said.
