Bethlehem, PA (October 7, 2011) – Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem, a
Bethlehem, PA, casino and entertainment destination, today announced the names
of several luxury retail stores opening at The Shoppes at Sands, a luxury retail
outlet center launching for Preview Days on November 1, 2011.
During November, shoppers will have
the opportunity to browse at: Talbots, Ultra Diamonds, Nine West, DKNY, Guess,
Spritz Designer Fragrances, Lenox, Old Farmer’s Almanac General Store and
Hartmann Luggage. Additionally, we are pleased to announce the lease signings
of Coach and Corning, who will join other luxury retailers for our February 16,
2012 Grand Opening.

visit to take advantage of the great selection from nationally known retailers.”
The development of this luxury
outlet center with over 30 national brand retailers follows the latest
expansion of the property, which includes the launch of the Sands Hotel, the
largest full service hotel in the Lehigh Valley, and Emeril’s Italian Table, a
new restaurant from world-renowned chef and restaurateur Chef Emeril Lagasse,
both which opened earlier this year.
“Bethlehem is emerging as a top
tourism destination, especially this year with the developments of the former
Steel site,” Bethlehem Mayor John Callahan said. “The dynamic mix of retail at
The Shoppes at Sands is yet another amenity to attract people to our city.

The Shoppes at Sands will be easily
accessible to visitors of the Sands Bethlehem property, as it is directly
connected to the main casino. In 2010, the resort attracted more than six
million guests, and these luxury stores will provide another feature for
visitors to enjoy.
Situated on the former site of the
historic Bethlehem Steel plant, the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem originally
debuted in May 2009. The property currently offers the Sands Hotel, the largest
full service hotel in the Lehigh Valley, over 3,000 state-of-the-art slot
machines, 129 live table games, and a variety of premier entertainment and
dining options. These include Emeril’s Chop House, Burgers And More By Emeril,
Emeril’s Italian Table, Carnegie Deli, St. James Gate Irish Pub and Carvery,
