The Shoppes at Oklahoma City benefit The Children's Hospital Foundation

A grand opening is planned by the Horizon Group for its exciting new Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City. The Children’s Hospital Foundation is the beneficiary. The gala private preview will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 4 at the 350,000-square-foot mall at Interstate 40 and Council Road. The mall opens to the public Aug. 5.

The Outlet Shoppes will feature a children’s play area, covered walkways, a large food court and numerous stores. Those attending the private preview are promised entertainment, food and shopping.

Tickets will be needed for admission and will be handled by Children’s Hospital Foundation. Volunteers already are making plans for the big party and soon will have the tickets available for sale.

Corporations may choose to purchase blocks of tickets in advance, but any group may purchase tickets, as well as individuals. The ticket prices are $10 and $15. Call Liz Young (405) 271-6050 for information.

Stores include Aeropostle, Auntie Anne’s, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Carter’s children’s clothing, Chico’s, the Children’s Place, Christopher Banks, City Bites, Clarks/Bostonian, Claire’s, Coach, Converse, Corningwear, Dazzle Nails and Spa, Disney Stores Outlet, DKNY, Dress Barn, Easy Spirit and Famous Footwear/Factory Brand Shoes.

Others are Fragrance Outlet, Gap Outlet, Gold Toe, Guess, Gymboree, Haggar, Hanes Brands, Izod, J. Crew Factory, Johnston & Murphy, Jones New York, Jos. A. Bank, Journeys, Justice, Kasper, Kay Jewelers, Kitchen Collection, Lane Bryant, Le Creuset, Le Gourmet Chef, Levi’s, Lids, Maurices, Michael Kors, Naturalizer, Nike, Nine West, Oakley Vault, among others.
