Deer Widows Weekend at Birch Run Premium Outlets

I love this event. I don't currently have a store in Birch Run but for years I did with Perry Ellis and London Fog. This is really creative and a huge event at this mall. This event intimately knows its local customer and takes advantage of a great opportunity.

Birch Run Premium Outlets is holding its 15th Annual Deer Widows Weekend Celebration from Friday, Nov. 12 to Sunday, Nov. 14. Originally conceived in honor of wives and girlfriends left behind at the official start of deer hunting season, the now three-day event promises incredible deals and savings for thousands of savvy shoppers.

The event will feature extended shopping hours and special events in addition to promotions beyond the center’s savings of 25 to 65 percent every day. With 145 designer and name-brand outlet stores, shoppers will likely bring home more “prizes” than their deer hunting counterparts.

Featuring a compelling mix of outlet stores including Banana Republic Factory Store, BCBG Max Azria, Brooks Brothers Factory Store, Calvin Klein, Coach, Gap Outlet, J.Crew, Nike, Pottery Barn, Tommy Hilfiger and more, the schedule for Deer Widows Weekend 2010 includes:

Friday, Nov. 12:

• Visit Columbia Sportswear Company, the official registration station for Deer Widows Weekend and register to win a $250 centerwide shopping spree. Lucky shoppers will receive free gifts and prizes from Columbia Sportswear Company at various times throughout the day.

• Deer Widows Weekend Reception: 6pm – 7pm next to the Guest Services Center in Section F.

• Pick up the Deer Widows Weekend Bargain - Hunting Guide with details on all of the weekend’s special offers and sales promotions,

Saturday, Nov. 13:

• “Win Big Bucks” scratch-off card giveaways starting at 8am for the first 500 guests visiting Nike, Tommy Hilfiger or VF Outlet. Don’t miss a chance to win gift cards from Birch Run Premium Outlets and participating stores in denominations of $10, $25, $50, $100 or $500.

Sunday, Nov. 14:

• Free Deer Widows Weekend gift bags filled with goodies from Birch Run Premium Outlets and participating merchants to the first 500 Deer Widows visiting Tommy Hilfiger starting at 9am.
