The rebuilt shopping center on U.S. 278 in greater Bluffton will include at least two new stores, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th and Levi's, according to Tanger Factory Outlet Center officials.
New restaurants expected are Panera Bread, Olive Garden and LongHorn Steakhouse. Beaufort County is considering their building plans.
Returning occupants include Brooks Brothers, The Children's Place, J. Crew and Jockey. Most moved to The Mall at Shelter Cove on Hilton Head Island before demolition of the old center began in January. Jockey moved to Hilton Head Village in greater Bluffton.
Tanger officials have signed leases or await signatures on 73.4 percent of the center's available square footage, up from 53.6 percent three months ago. They release the names of signed tenants only.
The new center, which will span 175,000 square feet in addition to four free-standing buildings, is scheduled to open in the second half of 2011.
