Four anchors at Opry Mills Mall are scheduled to open before the rest of the mall in time for the 2011 holiday season.
Regal Cinemas Opry Mills Stadium 20 & IMAX, Dave & Buster’s, VF Outlet and Sun & Ski Sport all plan to reopen before the official opening of the mall, planned for March 29, 2012.
Opry Mills will also host new outlets, such as Coach Factory Store, Calvin Klein, Tommy Bahama Outlet, Talbots, Chico’s, White House Black Market, Under Armour Factory House and The LEGO Store when the mall reopens.
Restaurants are also planning to reopen, with Rainforest Café, Aquarium Restaurant and Opry Mills’ Food Court to open in 2012.
A building permit was issued by the Metro Codes Administration to The Whiting-Turner Contracting Co., on June 17 for $2 million to rehab the flood damaged Aquarium Restaurant at Opry Mills, 516 Opry Mills Dr.
The mall has been closed since the historic May floods of 2010.
