Multiple stores evacuated
Emergency responders are probing a reported fire at Tanger Outlets in East Lampeter Township.
First-responders encountered smoky conditions at Reebok and surrounding stores about 9:20 a.m., according to emergency dispatches.
The outlet center at 311 Stanley K. Tanger Blvd. wasn't open when crews arrived, but employees were able to let firefighters inside, according to reports.
Firefighters worked inside a building and on a roof to extinguish the blaze.
The incident was under control by 10 a.m., according to reports.
The fire is believed to have started in a rooftop air-conditioning unit, police said.
No injuries were reported.
