About 96,000 people visited the new Leeds outlet mall, The Shops of Grand River, during its opening weekend, according to Birmingham-based developer Daniel Corp.
That total is a tally of visitors from Thursday, the mall's opening day, to Sunday, said Doug Neil, Daniel's vice president of marketing and development.
"We were very pleasantly surprised, and I'm sure all of our tenants were excited to see that reception in the Birmingham market," Neil said.
