Citadel Outlets continues to expand and open more stores

(Los Angeles, CA) - Citadel Outlets, LA's only outlet shopping mall continues to open more new stores expanding it's retail directory. Known as the shopping destination for cool lifestyle apparel and accessories, Tilly's, The Children's Place and U.S. Polo Assn opened in March.

The Children's Place (4,994 sq. ft.) opened on March 29 next to Nautica. As the largest pure-play children's specialty apparel retailer in North America, The Children's Place provides big fashions at little prices for boys and girls including newborn babies, toddles and tweens. Parents will find school uniforms, shirts, pants and jeans, dresses, shoes and accessories at The Children's Place which carries sizes 0 -14.

Tilly's (5,162 sq. ft.) opened March 21, is located between Toys 'R Us and Billabong Outlet is a passionate lifestyle brand with a heritage rooted in the close knit action sports community. At Tilly's, surfing, skateboarding, motocross, music, art, fashion and culture collide under one roof. Tilly's offers an unparalleled assortment of brand and apparel styles, sizes and price points in multiple categories including clothing, shoes, accessories, backpacks, hats, sunglasses, headphones and much more. In other center news, Rockport opened up its doors in February, Sprockets Kids relocated within the center, and Hurley, Van's and Bass remodeled and expanded their existing stores.

Rockport (2,062 sq. ft.) opened in February next to Columbia Sportswear Company. Sprockets Kids (4,393 sq. ft.) relocated in February to the Citadel Cafes, near Vitamin World. Parents who recognize the Sprockets Kids brand (featuring Sprockets the Dog) from Mervyn's will find colorful clothing for boys and girls ages 0 - 7. The second location in the U.S., Sprockets Kids at Citadel Outlets delivers on trend design and quality merchandising at an unforgettable value.

Also, Hurley, Van's and Bass completed fantastic remodels.

Citadel Outlets is LA's only outlet shopping destination with bigger and better deals with more than 150 top brand-name stores and restaurants. Citadel Outlets recently completed an expansion in October 2010 adding 35 more stores to the tenant mix now including H&M, Nike Factory Store, adidas, Under Armour, Esprit, Gap Factory Store, Aeropostale, Columbia Sportswear, Kenneth Cole, Banana Republic Factory Store, Justice for Girls, BCBG, Calvin Klein, Guess Factory Store, Tommy Hilfiger, Puma, Ann Taylor Factory Store and Old Navy. Citadel Outlets has come a long way since its historical facade was erected 80 years ago. Starting off as a tire factory - the largest tire manufacturing facility on the West coast - Citadel Outlets has transformed into a 900,000-square-foot mixed-use commercial property, featuring a 201-room Doubletree Hotel, four multi-tenant office buildings and Los Angeles' only outlet shopping center.
