I'm sorry, but if you want a real shopping experience that doesn't have you thinking "Which town am I in?", then seek out the independent retail shops in your own area.
Support the small independents that are striving to bring variety to our towns.
There is clearly a place for small independent local retails. They can often provide variety, merchandise and services that larger corporations can't.
But if your looking for full selections of brand name merchandise at a discount then the outlets are your best bet. Specifically if you love a particular brand, you can't do better in terms of selection, price and value than at their own stores.
One form or retail doesn't have to preclude the other. There is room in the market for the local independent retailer and other retail formats.
So true.... additionally,what I like most about the market in the EU is that while people there do like "big names" in fashion, they (and retailers there unlike here in the US) are most open to small distinctive "niche brands" be it a niche cologne like mine, or shirts, clothing etc..
