Manufactura Kiev Outlet Village opens doors in October

Manufactura, the Ukraine’s first ever shopping outlet village, is set to open its doors in four months in Kiev.

With 75% of the outlet construction complete and high demand for professional retail space, Manufactura is set to lead the way for the Ukrainian market. The outlet format is new to Ukraine, but is quickly developing in the Eastern European retail market and it continues to attract iconic high-end brands and globally recognized designer labels. The scheme is set to open on October 1, 2013.

Located just five miles from the country’s capital Kiev with 4 million people living within a 60 minute drive distance, the scheme will cater for the population’s growing affluence and increasing appetite for designer brands. A total area of 25,000 sq. meters, 110 retail units, and 5 restaurants are included within the outlet. The scheme’s aesthetic is influenced by Dutch architecture and surrounded by water canals, superior landscaping and will deliver an aspirational atmosphere for out of town shopping.

The outlet village is adjacent to a huge supermarket, bowling allies and cinema facilities making the out of town location a day destination for families and tourists alike.

Olga Troian, Managing Director of Manufactura said: “The speed in which Manufactura has gained tenants demonstrates how strong the retail market is in Ukraine. With all eyes currently on the Eastern European market potential, we’re thrilled that Manufactura is the first outlet shopping centre in the country as it means that it can really lead the way in the retail industry.”
