Man stole 850 watches worth $245K from Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets

CENTRAL VALLEY — An employee at a watch outlet store in Woodbury Common stands accused of stealing $245,000 worth of watches, Town of Woodbury Police said Monday.

On Friday, the manager of the Time Factory Outlet reported 850 watches stolen. Det. Michael Bauer investigated and arrested Daryn Bleach, 23, of Goshen.

Police said Bleach, who worked there, cut the store's alarm wires, staged the scene to make it look like a burglary and took the watches.

The watches were all recovered.

Bleach was sent to Orange County Jail on $1,500 cash bail on felony grand larceny and burglary charges.

Christopher Gelletich, 22, of Goshen, is being charged with a misdemeanor as a co-conspirator and was released on $250 cash bail.
