CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) – Break out your best dress and high heels. Charleston Fashion Week is almost here! Style Director for Charleston Fashion week Ayoka Lucas says this year's event is going to be bigger and better than years past.
"This year you can expect literally a fashion village. There's going to be a main runway tent a style lounge tent and for the first time we're having a pop up shop which will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. presented by Tanger Outlets," Lucas said.
During the day, the festival will feature special guests, lectures and book signings.
The pop-up shop will feature every day sales.
"It's just a time during the day when people can enjoy Charleston Fashion and maybe buy their outfit for that night," Lucas said.
For the first time this year, seating in the fashion tents will be reserved.
If you want the best view, you'll want to purchase a Fashion Insider Front Row Package which includes luxurious seating, a free drink, and admission to the Style Lounge for the pre-party, entertainment and shopping. Those tickets start at $95 during the week.
Regular tickets for runway shows start at $45 during the week. The finale runway show is on Saturday followed by a Spring Bridal show on Sunday.
The event runs March 20-24.
