Woodbury police believe that recently discovered human remains are that of a Queens woman who has been missing for five years.

Authorities say 78-year-old Pan Sun Kim's family came forward when they recognized photos of jewelry and glasses from the scene in an article in the Korea Times. They also reportedly confirmed that over-the-counter Korean medication found near the remains also belonged to Kim.

Human remains were discovered near the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets last month. Foul play is suspected.

Autopsy results show the remains belonged to an older, Asian woman. DNA results to confirm her identity are expected within the next two weeks.
