Glimcher Realty Trust officially unveils on Thursday morning its newly renovated The Outlet Collection | Seattle, formerly the Auburn SuperMall.

As part of a yearlong, $35 million redevelopment and rebranding project, the center received new flooring, lighting, entrances, furniture and family restrooms. A new dining emporium and children's soft play area were added as well as an interior concourse connector to improve the shopping experience within the center.

The renovation attracted top retailers, including Coach Factory Outlet, Nike Factory Store, Michael Kors, J. Crew Factory, Brooks Brothers Factory, and H&M. These brands join the outlet mall's existing designer fashion stores, including Tommy Hilfiger Company Store, Nordstrom Rack, Ann Taylor Factory Store, and Banana Republic Factory.

"We are extremely pleased to celebrate the completed renovation of The Outlet Collection | Seattle," said Michael P. Glimcher, chairman and CEO of Glimcher. "Since introducing the new brand, we've invested $35 million into the center to create a designer fashion mall environment featuring some of the top outlet brands in the world. As part of the project, we've revitalized more than 100,000 square feet of merchant space, added vibrancy and relevancy to the center, and maximized the continued growth opportunities presented within the outlet sector."

Thursday's grand unveiling events will showcase the renovation and welcome new iconic brands to the center. Shoppers will enjoy giveaways, coupons, celebrity meet and greets and family entertainment, while experiencing a mix of fashion and new amenities.

The grand unveiling ceremony begins at 9 a.m. with welcome speeches from Auburn Mayor Pete Lewis and Michael Glimcher.

The first 1,000 center patrons through the main entrance at 10 a.m. will receive an exclusive swag bag and door prizes.

"Oct. 17 marks the culmination of our transformation from a hybrid full price and outlet center to a pure outlet center under The Outlet Collection brand," said Greg Fleser, general manager of The Outlet Collection | Seattle. "This effort demonstrates our commitment to serving as a top shopping destination in the Pacific Northwest and a long-term fixture in the growth of the Auburn community."

Glimcher, which owns and manages The Outlet Collection | Seattle, unveiled The Outlet Collection brand in May 2012 as part of the company's strategy to continuously improve quality and identify growth opportunities within its portfolio. The Outlet Collection brand also includes The Outlet Collection | Jersey Gardens.
